As we all know the Heat have some bench issues the worst being the backup point guard position. In this trade they trade for a solid backup point guard in Dunn and sign demar to fill out their rotation. Their projected 10 man will look like this PG Mitchell Dunn SG Hardaway Jr Larsson SF Wiggins DeRozan PF Giannis Jovic C Bam Portis

For the clippers they have a lot of rotational guards especially if they bring mathurin back like him, Gradey, sanders, wagler, garland, miller, and more so selling on Dunn who is expiring just makes sense here.
