This trade was made with the goal of providing the best package possible for the Bucks while retaining Wemby, Fox and Harper for the Spurs. Additional swaps and 2nd rd picks may be added to further sweeten the deal.

Spurs: Giannis is the perfect fit next to Wemby and would be the largest upgrade possible for this team. No player will come around in the future to provide a stronger piece to their hopes of perennial championship contention. Portis is also a nice piece who can come off the bench as their backup PF - giving San Antonio more size than any other team.

Bucks: Receive the reigning rookie of the year (Castle) along with two strong building blocks in Vassel and Johnson. The 4 picks include two which may come from other teams, necessary considering the Spurs should be a contender for years to come.
