Nets double down on Ben Simmons, trading away Claxton due to their spacing issues but gaining another defensive center who can score in the midrange. Additionally they get an experienced backup point guard and the third overall pick from Portland. If this pick is used to draft Miller I imagine the lineup would look like:

C: Ayton PF: Cam Johnson SF: Miller SG: Bridges PG: Simmons

All players in the starting 5 can defend well and positions 2-4 can shoot the ball from the 3 point line allowing better spacing for Ben Simmons. Signing C. Wood in free agency as another big who could space well with Simmons and signing Dillon Brooks to come off the bench providing great defense. I imagine the nets could try and get 2024 & 2026 FRP pick swaps from Suns as well through this trade.

Blazers would gaining a young defensive center and an experienced defensive 3 & D player being DFS. This allows the Blazers to retain Damian Lillard to further pursue a ring whilst adding to the young core they currently have (Simons, Sharpe & Nassir).

Suns would be trading Ayton who's been disgruntled with the team for the last 2 seasons. Gaining depth on cheap contracts which they desire due to CP3, KD & Bookers contracts. They also get their 2023 FRP back to draft a young player adding further depth on a rookie contract.
