Why Each Team Does This:

Miami Heat: They desperately need scoring off the bench after moving Herro up to the starting lineup. Oubre can bring a scoring boost off the bench. With Vanderbilt working on his corner three ball he would be a great fit next to Bam since he is an amazing rebounder. His height with Bam can help bring in those rebounds that made them lose last year in the playoffs. PJ Washington brings the heat a much needed 3 and D defender. This trade also moves Caleb Martin back to his original position where he looks more comfortable and free.

Charlotte Hornets: They get a second and a young center for two players they probably did not want to sign back in free agency. They also save money on the books in a year where they are tanking. Jakob is a center that fits Lamelo Ball's play style. He worked perfect with a young defensive guard in Murray who didn't really develop his shot when playing with him and he still flourished with a guard who drives. Now imagine a guard who can finish at the basket, shoot off dribble, an amazing passer. Jakob would be in a perfect situation to unlock his true potential.

Utah Jazz: They get a center to fill there center hole while also adding a young defensive minded point guard. They also get a first round pick for Vanderbilt which is appropriate value for him.

San Antonio Spurs: They get a player who can build up his trade value in a new scenario and be flipped in the offseason or next season. Yurtseven is a young center who has shown flashes of being a multifascet offensive player. He still has holes on defense but the spurs have one of the best development staff and Yurtseven can really progress and grow in their system. The biggest attraction is the 2023 first round pick and the second round pick which would add to their pick collection even more in a year where they are looking to tank.
