2nd appron is projected around 222 million. If the Thunder draft at 12 and 17, and keep everybody their payroll would be at 265. Wayyy too much, so they should face appron hell next season.

Here they make 3 trades that saves money while making them kinda better.

Trade 1: Sign and Trade IHart 3yr/75 million to the Lakers for a Sign and Trade in Hachimura for 3yr/42 million.

Trade 2: Send Isaiah Joe and pick 17 to the Hornets for pick 18. Slight salary dump. I don't really know if he got any value, but being a dnp in a very injured team in conference finals didn't help his trade stock, and they need to not only trade him, but trade him while not getting any salaries back, so here they trade down to save money.

Trade 3: Jdub (Really injury prone this season), Kenrich (Save 7 million from a not so productive player), Topic (Could have some future, but they have too many guards in front of him, and Wiggins (save 10 million). Chet was terrible in WCF, and i honestly never liked him as a player, but trading Jdub would make more sence since Giannis needs a stretch big next to him

Draft: Swain at 18 Reject team option on Dort

This gets them at 217 million after the draft. Around 5 million below the 2nd appron. After signing players for the minimum they should be just under the 2nd
