Anthony Davis trade rumors have been swirling and this almost seems like the reverse of the Kawhi situation, where player and owner are debating over injury recovery timeline. Could a similar result happen where an AD trade results in a ring, or will he be stuck in another bad situation? That is what this series aims to explore.

Why the Heat do this:

Herro/Powell/Bam/AD is too good to pass up on. Somehow, this team feels like they are one player away from contending again and AD could be that guy. He should fit decently next to their existing roster including Bam and Powell.

Why the Mavs do this:

A Flagg/Ware/Lively frontcourt is SCARY short- and long-term and the Mavs also get some other solid role players and picks. After a Washington or Gafford trade this could be one of the most complete young teams in the NBA.
