Sending a 2024 1st to the Nets for a 2025 1st satisfies the Stepien Rule (Teams must have one unproected 1st round pick in their posseion every other year) which frees up the Heat to trade their 1st's in 2024/26/28/30

Pistons: Little

By moving the long term contracts of Lillard, Nurkic & Little while only taking back 2 inexpensive rookie contracts and 4 expirings Portland will clear over $65M of cap space for next offseason.

Spurs get the vet C they've been looking for, Heat get 2 solid vets to plug into the rotation
