I know it’s not a perfect fit, but for the Lakers, anyone will help. Grant provides good two way athletic wing presence that will help the Lakers in what is most likely the last year of LeBron. Rui, Hood-Schifino, Vincent (salary filler) and a first is a fair price for one last crack.

As for the Blazers, filling the roster up with athletics wings to compliment Scoot, Sharpe and Simmons is a great way to kick off the rebuild. Rui proved a lot in the Olympics for the Japan national team, and could turn into quite a good player with a scenery change. Getting off the Grant contract, and getting a first that could be valuable is a great trade, especially throwing Hood-Schifino as a young player on top, it’s a no lose situation for the Blazers.
