Why Each Team Does This:

Miami Heat: Vanvleet gives them another scoring punch while also being a perfect next to Bam and Jimmy. Porter brings them a big wing who can play defense just like Tucker while rebounding like him. With this trade it would symbolize them going all on in on the core of the Butler, Adebayo, and Herro which would mean they would still have Robinsons contract to upgrade the bench even if its for small names since Robinsons contract is bad.

Toronto Raptors: Even if the raptors starting winning games they still won't be good enough to compete but too good to rebuild. Their best option is to retool around Siakam and Scottie. This trade brings them a first round pick and a young four who would fit perfect next to Siakam and Scottie. A shooting big who can handle the ball. They also get a feel good story by bringing back Lowry and having him end his career in Toronto.
