In a chilling turn of events, Nico Harrison has snuck back into the Mavericks' Front Office through a mind link to exact his revenge for his firing. He controls the acting GM and vows to completely dismantle the team.

However, he knows if he makes it too obvious, he'll get caught. So he can't just trade AD back to the Lakers or something like that. Instead, he masks decent trade ideas with a mix of weak returns and sneaking some crucial players out of the team.

Warriors reunite with Klay, but also get Gafford. AD goes home to Chicago for expirings and the Mavs take on Patrick Williams contract. Kyrie joins the Clippers unction to have a star-studded team he can ease back into the game with, post-injury. And finally, the Bucks get a bunch of depth while only parting with Kuzma and future picks.
