If the Bucks don't go past the 1st round this year, they probably won't be contenders again with this core, so the first move could be to move on from Giannis. Obviously they wouldn't do so by themselves if Giannis doesn't request out.(Similar to the Steph situation but less extreme). However, it is very possible that he does. In that case, sending him to the Spurs would both help him compete for championships, and them load on picks. Obviously equal value is probably not going to be achieved, but a haul of Vassell and 6 1sts is a pretty good return, as well as Barnes maybe being able to go for a few seconds if the Bucks shop him. I think this is a pretty good haul overall, and even if the Bucks don't win the trade, it would be a great return if Giannis requests out. In addition, they could further flip Dame for 2-3 1sts, Kuzma for 1-2 firsts, and Lopez and Portis could also fetch something.
