TRAIL BLAZERS
The Blazers rotation as of now makes no sense. Scoot needs more touches. I really love Clingan but Chet has more two-way potential and Portland is a good lowkey place for him to go through trial by fire at the five spot. With a Dame-Scoot-Deni-Toumani-Chet starting five and Ja, Naz, and Timelord off the bench, Portland could be a playoff team.
RAPTORS
The Raptors, like the Blazers, have a very redundant roster right now. Scottie is fantastic but he can't shoot and CMB has the potential to be just as good at a fraction of the price. With Kawhi in the equation, they could lengthen the lineup and run: Jrue-IQ-Kawhi-CMB-Clingan with Shead, Walter, RJ, and Poeltl off the bench. That's a finals contender.
HORNETS
The future is the Coby White-Kon Kneuppel backcourt. Given that, I suggest they add some inside scoring and rebounding/defense. Enter Scottie Barnes. He's the perfect sidekick to Kon Kneuppel. A Coby-Kon-Royce-Scottie-Diabate. Losing Miller sucks but it's worth it to keep their picks. Run it with Kon-Scottie and load up for a third star next offseason.
THUNDER
Oklahoma City is set to pay the tax and lock in the big three for the foreseeable future. There is definitely an argument to stand pat, but Chet looked really bad last playoffs and they still could use some more consistent secondary creation. Enter Brandon Miller. A starting lineup of Shai-Miller-JDub-JWill-IHart with Ajay, McCain, Caruso, Cason, Sorber, and Mara.
