So in this trade, they make a move for Sam Hauser, a proven shooter, who shot 41.6% from 3 on a championship level team, the Boston Celtics. This gives the rockets another depth piece that could play the 3/2 or maybe even experiment with smallball lineups that may involve Sam hauser at the 4. Sam hauser provides this rockets offence with spacing, opening up the middle for Alperen Sengun and KD. Sam Hauser also helps this rockets team beat zone defenses, further opening up the offence for their stars.
