League Wide Shake Up / Pels Acquire Giannis

FAILED

This is probably my favorite trade I've ever cooked.

Bucks and Giannis finally part ways. This trade is fully center around the Bucks regaining their next two years picks for, and very fun and interesting young guys, paired with lots of expiring money. Lets break it down...

The Pels take the massive swing for Giannis. It costs them Zion (who they don't love), Herb (who is great), Fears (fun rookie), Poole and Bey (they don't deserve a breakdown). Mainly, though, they're giving up some very valuable trade assets to get not only Giannis, but a great young guard in Rollins, and most any other big contract the Bucks have, mainly to make money work.

The Hawks get in on this deal to bolster their depth, and solidify a win now roster. They get their new main shooter, in a blossoming MPJ. One of the league's best wing defenders in Herb Jones (imagine him next to Daniels), and a young, very interesting player, in Noah Clowney. Lastly they get a couple bench pieces in KPJ, and Ymissi to solidify a fantastic 10 man rotation. They give the Bucks their pick back this year, and also part ways with Risacher in this deal.

The Nets are the team to take the chance on Zion for one pretty simple reason, what do they have to do lose. They take inspiration from the Wizards buying Trae Young for cheap, and take the same approach. Their roster has done surprisingly well this year, but they can't keep MPJ, because he will simply win them too many games to get a decent pick. You could sit Zion the rest of the year, and no one would bat an eye, yet everyone has to agree that his ceiling is much higher than MPJ's. Since they're also losing Clowney is this deal, they get compensated with a few seconds from the Raptors.

Speaking of the Raptors, they get their wildest dream come to reality...Jakob Poetl's horrible contract is no longer their problem. They upgrade Jakob into Myles Turner, with the cost being their young project in Boyles, and a couple other young guys that don't seem to be panning back out quite how planned, and a few seconds.

After all this chaos, the Bucks end up getting almost $50 million in expiring money, two very interesting young players in Boyles and Fears, with Risacher still having very high potential to make it in this league. You also get less interesting young guys, that still have potential, in Dick, Agbaji, and Peavy. Mainly, though, you get stuck with Poetl's awful contract, and Poole's decently sized contract, to get your next two picks back and two future Pels picks.

This is a crazy deal, with a ton of moving parts, but I really do think everyone benefits from this. Let me know who says no!
