A lineup of PG (Pick 9 or 10) SG Jordan Clarkson SF (Pick 9 or 10) PF Lauri Markkanen C Walker Kessler + 6th Man of Collin Sexton is a young team with potential. Kelly Olynyk is a good player but his services would be better for a contending team than for the Utah Jazz. He would fit the timeline of Dallas who wants to contend with Luka compared to the Jazz's situation.

Why Dallas Mavericks do this: Dallas in my opinion should trade this pick away for more win now pieces. Kelly Olynyk would be a better starting center over Dwight Powell. Kelly is one of the best 3-Point shooter at the center position. He is also an underrated passer. Jae'Sean Tate would be a good bench piece and help the Dallas Depth, + they still get picks so they can help there future as well. Instead of taking the #16 pick from Utah they add the 3rd team to flip the pick again and gain Tate as another win now player.

Why Houston Rockets do this: Jae'Sean Tate has had his role decease every year for the last 3 years. His situation is like Kelly with the Jazz. He would fit the Mavs timeline better while Houston gains a better pick to help them for the future.
