Why each team does this:
Miami Heat: They get the cheapest scorer on the market in Irving and get a big to put by Adebayo. They sign hood for small ball defense and shooting, Anthony for scoring off the bench, Whiteside to help with the rebounding problems.
Nets: the biggest return they get from the heats package would be the picks. They get two first and 1 second for a player on the last year of his contract who will more than likely leave them in free agency. They also get a younger version with more size of Seth curry. The downside of this package is Robinson’s contract but the first should cancel that out.
Pacers: They get two young players with a lot of potentials with a first and a second for an expiring deal in Turner.
Thunder: they get a second round pick from the heat to take away the protections on the 2025 first round pick.
