Minnesota is in a critical spot after having reached back-to-back conference finals. With Mike Conley continuing to age and Robert Dillingham's struggles, they are in desperate need of backcourt help. While Sexton isn't a traditional point guard, he continues to be one of the most underrated players in the league. From day one, he would provide Minnesota with added intensity and an uber-efficient scoring punch, whether in the starting lineup or off the bench.

For Charlotte, it was just a few months ago that they acquired Sexton and a 2rp for Jusuf Nurkic. They can now flip DiVencenzo for more value, add another 2rp, and take a flier on Dillingham. This would be great for them from an asset management standpoint, though they certainly could opt to keep Sexton.

To me, this trade is ultimately contingent upon what happens after the trade. Namely, if the T-Wolves can replace DiVencenzo with Malik Beasley and fill out the backend of their roster in a way that makes sense. If I were the GM, I would envision something as follows:
