If you're the Supersonics [sry, you've been rebranded & brought back to Seattle] and bringing KD back is a requirement, you're promised good trade luck in the future, someone will buy KD and Kawhi out from you for some odd reason, so you won't get stuck playing musical chairs, you might not get much for em, but you'll get something to build back around after you win a ring. Then do you do this? Do you chase a ring or two? Because with Hartenstein + these 4, Hali, KD, Kawhi, Paolo... they all fit their positions reallyy well. Those are 4 All-Stars. Having a quality point guard like Hali, plus that much talent around him, is unseen. It'd be their ring to lose. But KD + Kawhi are at the tail end of their careers, and SGA was just getting going. But perhaps that's the price to pay for Hali + Paolo, and whoever you get in return for Kawhi & KD. Oh, I entirely forgot about Jalen Williams. Bring Kawhi off the bench. I kept Jalen on the roster, so that's overkill. That's championship for sure. You GOTTA do this if you're Seattle. It's time to trade in on SGA, if you could actually pull this squad.
Then there's the other side of it, do you do this if you're ORL? SGA, Bane/Suggs, Franz/Tristan, Jonathan Isaac, Goga/Wendell/Vuc. Suddenly Magic become a top-3 team in the East.
Pacers would get all the picks in the world. Just for Hali, and for letting the whole thing happen. In return, they diversify talent. Get Caruso, Chet, Dort, Topic. Keep Nemby, Siakam, NeSmith, Zubac, Obi Toppin, TJ. I don't care if OKC already lost Dort. pretend that didn't happen.
Clippers, don't get a choice in the matter. They're on thin ice for the whole Kawhi thing.
Rockets, just want something back for KD. Are grateful to be getting two decent players & a pick or two.
