Why Each Team Does This:

Miami Heat: Through their entire run with Jimmy Butler have never had a four/ three that was good for more then one year on their team and they can finally get that with Mikal Bridges. Mikal Bridges is the perfect fit player next to bam and Jimmy as he plays defense and is an amazing spot up shooter who can score off the dribble too. Another incentive for this trade is this sets the heat up as major players in the Donovan Mitchell sweep stakes in four years by getting two of his friends on the same team (Bridges and Adebayo). Royce brings them another hard nosed defender and rebounder and to add to that he brings in another shooter.

Brooklyn Nets: Tyler Herro is an amazing young scorer and the Brooklyn Nets could be the perfect team to unlock his next level as a player. He would get a higher usage on the nets while being put in positions to work on his playmaking decisions and grow without having pressure of winning. Jovic has a ton of potential on the offensive side of the ball and has the length to be good on defense. They also get a valuable pick in 2029 from the heat. With reports of Ben Simmons value being extremely low and the nets not wanting him and looking for a trade a trade to the spurs would be perfect. The nets get off Ben Simmons contract and get a first round pick for him.

San Antonio Spurs: As a rebuilding team they have the luxury of taking a chance on Ben Simmons and try and rehab him to his former form. I know the nets are in a rebuild but their is friction between Ben Simmons and the front office so trading him off for a first would be the best trade for them. They have an amazing shooting coach who could maybe help Ben Simmons with his shooting and Gregg Popovic who is an amazing coach for young players.
