This would likely be a deadline move
Pistons: They acquire Trey Murphy, who can be a reliable secondary shot creator next to Cade; while also providing very solid defense and length, having the ability to play shooting guard. This fixes one of the biggest holes and maintains shooting next to Cade, also adding more athleticism.
Pelicans: They acquire 2 1/2 firsts and 3 seconds, a very solid return, also an elite shooter that could pair well with Zion and an expiring contract. If they’re bad again(which they will be imo) this is very good for them as they can free up more minutes for younger guys and have more draft capital to do what they please.
