Toronto Raptors move forward with a tank 2024-2025 season. They move up this 2024 draft by swapping their 19th Indiana Pick for the Memphis 9th pick. They should look to use that pick for a serviceable big man to replace their pieces being traded. They also acquire additional draft capital for the future. The nets can choose to not take McDaniels and Raptors take a larger salary burden with this trade.

Memphis Grizzlies get their much needed Center to help make a playoff run. They will also have a cheaper contract with the 19th draft pick allowing for future flexibility.

Brooklyn Nets will waive Bruce Brown this offseason and have the cap space to secure the Nic Claxton extension. This trade can also work without Mcdaniels if they prefer to have a salary cap relief for a free agency move. This will instantly give more flexibility this off season and make the nets better. Net fans would hate to give up another top 5 draft pick to the Rockets next year as they do not own their pick.
