With Ivey's extension coming up and his questionable fit next to the clear cornerstone in Cade, the Pistons might want to jump on the opportunity to land their legitimate 2nd option in Lauri who had an underwhelming year following his contract extension. Pistons keep their other young pieces in Duren, Ausar, Holland and Sasser (except Bobi but oh well) and adds to the spacing that the Pistons are going to lose when Malik Beasley possibly gets thrown ouf the league.

For the Jazz, you get 2 picks, free up shots for your new potential cornerstone in Ace Bailey (like he's been whining for) as well as adding a legit young talent that, while he has his flaws, is very promising. And besides, if we're being honest, the Jazz have drafted horribly during this recent rebuild, so you might as well just go get the young talent that's proven to be good. A young core of Kessler, Bailey, Ivey and George is something to actually start building on especially if you can lock down Kessler and Ivey on good long term contracts.
