Why the Hawks do this:The Hawks have great depth which is great but they aren’t really contending right now and making a move to get a star like Giannis to pair with Jalen Johnson would be perfect for making a late season run, they could be running something like Dyson-CJ-Jalen-Giannis-Okongwu, they would destroy the bench depth but they would still have people like Kennard and they could use the money from CJ’s expiring contract to move Dyson down and have a true 1 and more bench depth, they also give Asa Newell more time to develop in game
