Spurs get Westbrook, who Pop has liked for years. His contract doesn’t really hurt them because they have about $38M in cap space and he only has 1 year left. They only give up Richardson because Westbrook has no value on the market rn.

Lakers get Kyrie. Even though he has off-court issues and they would probably be able to sign him next year anyway they give up whatever it takes to bring him in and make Lebron happy. If LeBron, AD, and Kyrie can stay on the court they’ll be real contenders.
