Braun offers good perimeter defence, energetic play in transition, and secondary rim running which matches well with Dallas’s star players who dominate the ball. In order to motivate itself to take on Braun's long term bad contract while getting rid of Gafford, and Martin ofc. Dallas obtains three first-round draft picks swaps for 2028, 2030 and 2031 which might not be the best but after the Peyton Watson trade than they can give those picks and two second round picks from TOR and LAC. That has to be enough for Gafford.

BOS

To acquire Cameron Johnson, the Celtics trade Sam Hauser and Luka Garza. Johnson offers size, high-volume three point shooting, and positional defence at the forward position, which makes him a good match for Boston's system that focuses on the perimeter. The team also obtains a 2029 second-round pick and a swap for a 2033 first round pick in order to cover the cap hit and ensure long-term asset value.

LAC

The Clippers function as a financial facilitator by employing trade exceptions (TPE) in order to assume Zeke Nnaji's contract without giving up any salary. As a result of taking on Nnaji's contract, they obtain three future second round draft picks. Those from 2028 via MIN, 2031 via SAC, and 2033 via DEN in order to rebuild their depleted stash of draft picks after the Kawhi stuff.

Toronto takes advantage to help the nuggets be at a 15 man roster and get DaRon Holmes II for cheap.
