Could Jimmy Butler be traded this offseason? If so, where do you think he could go. Personally I think OKC is a possibility and this is an idea of a trade to make that happen. Feel free to comment your opinions on this.

OKC Thunder

The Thunder could use a good vet star to lead the team along with Shai to make a good push to the playoffs. Jimmy could be that star to bring them to success. They have a really good package for him too, including one of Miami's future picks. Trading Dort is something OKC would have to do in order to get a star guy like Jimmy, so in order for them to be willing to do that, they'd need to get a guy who can defend just as well as Dort back, which is why I like this deal. Although, I don't think OKC should get a superstar guy like Jimmy and instead go for a more young star guy like Mikal or something, but other than that I like this deal for them.

Miami Heat

The idea of the Heat rebuilding/retooling is something that has been a thing since this season and I think it could be time. If they fail to succeed in the post-season, this is a good option for them. Trade Jimmy, maybe even Bam and rebuild, or trade Jimmy to retool. This deal is for if they were to rebuild. the package is pretty good I'd say. 2 young quality guys and 1 young project player, which fixes their PF depth, and good picks for their future including their own 2025 first round pick.
