Why Each Team Does This:

Miami Heat: They go all in on the core of Herro, Butler, and Adebayo. With them going 4-0 on this road trip it shows the heat are still a team that can win it all with the right tweaks to their team. These tweaks are the move to make. Anunoby and Kuzma give the heat a defensive identity. Anunoby and Kuzma are two players that fix all of the heats problems of the current roster. They bring two way play and rebounding two things this heat team desperately lacks. The heat would probably extend Kuzma in this trade.

Toronto Raptors: Their team is stuck in the middle right now. Good enough to win games but not good enough to compete. Which means they need to pick a route either be in mediocrity for years and wait until a big name free agency comes to them or they hit big in the middle of the lottery draft or trade all valuable pieces for draft compensation and young players. This route is the latter. They trade Anunoby for two first and a young player. Jovic has a lot of potential as a guard in the body of a big man. They have to take on Robinsons contract which shouldn't be a problem to a rebuilding team as they have the minutes to let him play and rebuild his value.

Washington Wizards: Their season is collapsing and can be seen that they don't have enough to even make the playoffs. Kuzma's contract at this time is dead weight on the books since he has said that he does not want to be their and does not plan on signing an extension with the team. With this trade they get two small contract who can play with them till the end of the season and see if they want to resign them or not. The biggest piece they get in this trade is the 2027 first round pick.

Oklahoma City Thunder: The Thunder get a young shooter to add to their core of young guys and all they have to do is take the protections off of one of the heat's first round picks they own which allows the heat to trade 3 first round picks instead of 2 first round picks.
