With Trey Murphy being on the trade block, here is how the Warriors can fit into the requirements of getting trey Murphy:

One veteran who can log minutes in playoffs: (Buddy Hield) Hield was excellent in the playoffs this year and if the Pelicans plan on making it in the long run hield could be the 32 year old veteran they need.

One young prospect: (Jonathan Kuminga) Kuminga broke out in 2023 averaging 16 ppg, and has shown he can be an exceptional scorer. Whether it be he teams up with zion or not, the Pelicans would end up receiving a terrific young player when he's healthy.

Mutliple Draft Picks: (2027 Unprotect FRP, 2029 pick swap, and 2028 pick swap) despite the Pelicans wanting multiple first round picks,the most they can get is just one unprotected first due to the Stepien rule. They can also receive some FRP pick swaps which will occur with later draft picks that could be more valuable as curry, butler, and green get older, and potentially retire.
