An offseason plan with trade and draft explanation, 15 man lineup after all transaction, and thoughts on this new-look team ~ feel free to leave comments on the plan!

Trade:

  1. Clippers: Terry Rozier

Hornets: Marcus Morris SR, RoCo, 3 srps

Clippers can use a new PG, and Rozier is considered one of the easier guys with real quality to trade for

His contract will go even bigger, kinda undeserved for him too, so im not a fan on a frp involved in this deal, instead 3 srps

  1. Mavs: Cody Martin

Hornets: Davis Bertans, srp

Mavs can use better defenders

For those who wonder why it’s just a srp instead of multiple, Bertans is a 2 year 24M, Cody is 3 year 21M, but Charlotte can clear the cap sooner, so they will do this

  1. Nets: PJ Washington 3 year 46M

Hornets: Joe Harris, 2025 PHX frp top 20 protected (or else 2 future srps)

Nets will be a good destination for PJ, hving the spacing beside Clax

I made the pick traded detail as i rlly think just lottery protected is still an overpay so yea, it will be those very protected picks

Draft:

4th pick: Jarace Walker

27th pick: Ryan Rupert

34th: Terq Smith

Other 2 srps: trade it somewhere else I don't wanna put it into the trade

FA:

Miles Bridges 1 year minimum

Lineup:

Starting:

Lamelo Bouknight Bridges Jarace Mark

Bench:

Terq Rupert Hayward Jones Richards

Reserves:

McGovens Harris Covington Morris Thor

waived: Bertans

Conclusion:

Another season without anything to go for, just play their best and that's it

Drafting Jarace as he's a very safe pick and it's just a blessing for Hornets to hv a Jarace and Mark frontcourt

MILES BRIDGES IS BACK!!! Rumour said Hornets interested in bringing back him, getting a minimum is cus u never know do he still hv any punishments he have to face

How fit he is for the game also is an unknown, but Hornets got nth to lose to get him back at a minimum, fans will be hype for the link between Bridges and Melo again

Drafting Rupert is for defensive purposes, if he can rlly shoot well he is the long term SG beside Melo

Also, i think PJ is kinda peaked alrdy, Jarace is just the best talent available and they go Jarace, this will basically take PJ's min so i think it's best for the Hornets to move on from him for some draft capital
