I think this trade is a good move for both teams!

The reason I say this is-

For the sixers they haven’t had embid on the court for a minute and the pg trade has been bad for them but they kinda have to commit to it. But also some of their young guards have shown good promise. I think adding an all star caliber center with such playmaking prowess; arguably 2nd best playmaking big in the league to this roster would be huge. Also he plays and is rarely hurt. An iron man of sorts. He pretty close to elite at everything offensively. The problem is his defense which I think is out weighed with his playmaking and health for this team.

For the kings I think their celling with this roster at its best might not even be a playoff team. The west is too strong to not have a top 10 talent on your team. And that’s where embid comes in. A trade that not only gives the better rim protection but gives a superstar talent is huge for this team. Obviously there’s risk. But I think with their current roster taking a risk is necessary. Hopefully in the draft they look for a great defender that can maybe space the floor or is good off ball or in the offseason. Or maybe a good playmaker. But I think a high risk high reward trade like this would be good for team chances at possible being competitive.
