The wizards does this as a transition for randle as he will not stay for long trading poole getting a pick for it I thinks fits there timeline because poole take to many chances away from the young guys and can flip randle later. The wolf do it because they might not have money for randle and they someone that can create chances for edwards because against the thunder timberwolf has few options after edwards get double teamed. For the lakers dealing a protected pick and a contract to get a shooter might not help alot but maybe then can flip dalton for a center or pick 1 up in free agents
