I LOVE the idea of Kuminga going to the Heat. But, this trade is really hard to pull off. GSW don't have the salaries to make it work. I don't think they’d give up Hield or Moody... This was the best I could come up with.
For the deal to work financially, the Heat would need to offer Kuminga a 4-year, $120–125M contract (which I think is fair), but it would have to be frontloaded due to sign-and-trade rules and GSW’s lack of movable salaries.
In this scenario, the Heat would also need to clear some cap space, and BKN could step in as a facilitator by taking on Kevin Love’s $4M expiring deal.
GSW would get back Wiggins and a protected first-rounder from MIA (top 5).
