It's simply due to happen. The money matches, the Clippers will be out of play in contention, so no need for Rui in second half, the Wolves really need a PF, and Rui's spacing next to Lamelo and Ant would be glorious. Rui shot over 41% from 3 in the last 3 seasons and is a career 51% 3pt shooter in playoffs, so any contender should love to get him.

I would still trade Divincenzo with their 2029 first for PF depth, this team lacks too much in that department
