Pacers see this opportunity to use very nice assets to get Giannis. Right off the bat, I doubt they do this move since making the playoffs would be almost impossible for them, but this could in theory be a summer trade, or they just realize Giannis won't be available in the summer and they have to go for it now. The deal centers around a treasure chest of picks/swaps, including the prize jewel of the Pacers own unprotected pick in this upcoming draft, which very well could be top 3. When you speak about current talent back, Pascal is honestly just the Walmart version of Giannis, so that's an easy plug into the Bucks system, Obi is a fine role player, and Bennedict has some very upside, and the Bucks can afford to take a swing on him in the off season now. Again, the timing is awful for the Pacers, but they could easily see a path where a team swoops in at the deadline, and they can't make this deal in the summer. Another thing to take into account...Giannis hates the Pacers haha, they always beef when they play, but if Giannis basically plugs into Pascal's role...that's a scary team.
