I hate 5 team trades they’re usually unrealistic and getting 5 men who’s in direct competition with each other to agree on something way too hard. But I think this deal would make everyone involved better.

The Bulls add some defense and depth to their roster. Derozen and Lavine are redundant and I think Derozen’s accession has hurt Lavine’s game. Neither play defense and Derozen is an iso scorer. The Bulls need to build around Lavine and this is how. They need to add more defense. Vucevic was a great pickup but doesn’t defense. But Stewart can play the defacto 5 and protect the rim. While adding a good wing in Hayward and Rozier the Bulls would immediately become more balanced. While maintaining their bench depth with Caruso and Beverly.

Rozier/Caruso Lavine/Beverly Hayward/Jones Stewart/(Carmelo Anthony????) Vucevic/Drummond

The Lakers make this move (if they get Kyrie if not deals off). But they make this move to add even more shooting and depth around Lebron James. Who needs the floor spaced for him to take over. This team would be deep for the first time since Lebron’s the bubble and maybe could make noise next season. They also aren’t giving up that much if you had Kyrie why do you need DLO and give up that pick for an all-star like Derozen who’s from there.

The Hornets make this trade to fill out their roster a little better. First things first you can market the Ball the bothers, I think Lonzo would actually bring leadership to that team and he plays defense. The Hornets also get rid of two guys who just aren’t on their timeline and they get a pick out of it.

The Clippers get a real point guard no offense to Russ but because of his lack of shooting and turnovers I don’t trust him closing out games. DLO can do that for you, he can run an offense next to Kawhi and PG and he doesn’t have to worry about guarding anyone because the team is so talented around him. Russ can go back to his bench role which he was really good in. And the Clippers would still be loaded even after this trade.

The Pistons make this move to add depth to their wings. Bognovic isn’t on the Pistons timeline, and Stewart was part of a logjam at C/Pf. With this they get two wings Rui and Patrick. Patrick will solidify their defense without the expectation of scoring like he has in Chicago and Rui can really score off the bench. With this move they get deeper and better defensivel while adding a 1st.
