This makes all too much sense.

The Warriors reportedly want KD. Jimmy wants to head to Phoenix and nowhere else. And reports already have it that the Heat would welcome Wiggins and additional comp for Butler.

Some Heat fans on here will say “tHe HeAt NeEd To GeT mOrE” but Butler is literally a meaningless piece to 20+ teams at this point as he’s disgruntled there and also holds the ability to block moves. If Phoenix opted not to do this, he could literally be stuck in Miami rotting for nothing.

While I think KD is over the hill and won’t make an impact on a championship run in Phoenix, if there’s one place he could be impactful as we saw in the Olympics - it’s by Steph’s side still.

And if you’re Phoenix, you get some picks back that you lost (at least one 1st) for KD - and can remain competitive if Butler gets his act together with your team the next two years.
