Shoutout to Surge who gave me this idea as he did it with the Spotify Playlist and the coin so I thought to do one.
“This whole trend started with AJ Green making a trade using a rat. This inspired a bunch of people a year ago to make their own crazy trades, including me. Around this time last year I made a trade using a receipt I got from Grocery Shopping and followed it up 6 months later with a trade using my Spotify playlist.”
And since Surge helped me with this idea just giving him a shoutout and now time to make the trade.
I will be trying my best to make the most ‘YouTube Shorts’ trade ever on fanspo (and probably the only 😭) and I will NOT be telling you what is on my feed 😭. Suprisingly enough, the YouTube Shorts trade idea from me wasn’t that hard to complete. Please like and flame this post, this took me over an hour and a half to do.
That’s enough yapping so here is how I made it.
Part 1: The Teams
Deciding the teams in this trade was by far the easiest part. I would go in a random youtube short and check the like amount. If the last digit was even then team 1 would come from the eastern confrence. Team 2 would come from the western confrence.
I went into the first Youtube short and checked the like amount and it showed 18k likes so the first team would come from the eastern confrence. The second one had 133k so the next team would come from the western confrence.
To make the trade 100% fair for each confrence I counted the amount of words in 2 more video titles. It showed 6 and 9 so the teams would be the 6th seed in the east, and 9th seed in the west which happed to be the Hawks and Clippers.
Part 2: The Players
Now to find the players this was a bit harder but not too hard. In another video it was 25 seconds long so the person closest to $25M a year on the contract would be the player I would choose. Dyson Daniel was exactly $25M.
I did it with the next few shorts and they were 10 seconds (Derick Jones Jr) 91 seconds (nobody is that high so 9.1 was Brook Lopez) and 70 seconds (same thing, just 7.0 instead of 9.1 that is how we got Isiaiah Jackson) so that is who we got from the Clippers.
Now to do the Hawks players the video lengths were 24 seconds long and 14 seconds long. That would be Corey Kispert and Mohummed Gueye.
Part 3: The Picks
We needed to look at one more youtube shorts like count to see if there would even be any picks. If it was even there would be picks, odd if not. The like count was 86k and the last digit was even so there would be picks (my life is so hard 😭)
The next few shorts I saw were 28, 32, and 31 seconds long. Lucky enough for me the Clippers have 2028 SRP, 2031 SRP, and a 2032 SRP available to trade so I could just do that.
