Trade would have to take place during the 2025-2026 season.
I think a deal would center around Jalen Suggs, Wendell Carter, and multiple first round picks.
Magic The Magic would have a certified big 3 in the East. This would be like 2016-2017 Damian Lillard joining the 2016-2017 Bucks. Giannis and Middleton were able to get over the hump once the Bucks swapped Eric Bledsoe for Jrue Holiday. This is the chance for the Magic to get their Jrue Holiday. ++Starting 5:++ De’Aaron Fox KCP Franz Wagner Paolo Banchero Goga Bitazde ++Bench:++ Johnathon Isaac Anthony Black Tristen De Silva Mo Wagner Garry Harris Cole Anthony
Kings There has been speculation that the Rockets, Spurs, Heat, and Lakers are interested in De’Aaron Fox.
This trade all depends on how much the kings value Jalen Suggs. Suggs won all defense honors last year. Out of the eligible trade candidates from the aforementioned teams is Jalen Suggs better than Amen Thompson, Cam Whitmore, Tari Eason, Stephon Castle, Jeremy Sochan, Devin Vassel, Tre Jones, Tyler Herro?, Jimmy Butler?, Terry Rozier, Jaime Jaquez Jr, Dalton Knecht, Austin Reaves , D’Angelo Russel.
Suggs is the most decorated out of the aforementioned players. Out of all the teams I think the Spurs or Rockets could make the most compelling offer. But would the Kings want to trade De’Aaron Fox to a team in their conference?? Would the Kings be more enticed with the potential of Amen Thompson or Stephon Castle?? Would the spurs or rockets be willing to give up either player? Who would give up more draft capital?
In the end I think the Kings will look to move Fox to the East. And that leaves the Magic and the Heat. Would the Heat trade Tyler Herro for Fox? Jimmy Butler? Jimmy Butler is the best player out of all the options but would the Kings trade their young superstar for an aging one? Is Tyler Herro better than Suggs. If so then it’s not by a wide margin. In the end I think the Magic have the best chance to get Fox. They have the better young players and most draft capital.
