Bulls get Wood, who can protect the rim next to Vucevic while being an all-around versatile big on the offensive side of the floor. While they do give up what remains of their young core, they will be primed to contend in the east.

Rockets get Williams, who is a great young defensive piece. They also get Hayes, a young center with potential and Lewis Jr. who can give them some guard depth. They get two firsts to sweeten the deal even further.

The Pelicans get White, who is an explosive young scoring guard who can play either guard positions. They could slot him next to Devonte Graham or simply alternate the three guard spots between Graham, White, and Walker-Alexander depending on their needs. They also get Theis, who is a big who can space the floor and be a good team defender.
