HAWKS

C - Capela PF - Johnson SF - Hunter SG - Hield PG - Young

Bench - bogdonavic, Okongwu, Bey, Smith, McDaniels

The Dejounte/Trae experiment hasn’t worked out. This trade allows them to start fresh. Buddy Hield’s offensive fit with Trae is amazing. As one of the leagues best shooters, he will be able to feast off of Trae’s playmaking ability. Additionally, they gain many valuable bench pieces, and even a first round pick. Unfortunately, Murray’s value isn’t as great as it was two years ago. Despite this, the return Atlanta gets fits well, is versatile, and is valuable. They even get a first round pick.

INDIANA

C - Turner PF - Siakam SF - Toppin SG - Brown PG - Haliburton

Bench - Mathurin, McConnell, Nesmith, Jackson, Nembhard

It’s been no secret that the Pacers have been eying Siakam. His fit with the team is undeniable, and their bright future makes it likely he’d re-sign. They’ve stated they don’t want to trade both Walker and Mathurin, and they don’t do so here. Siakam adds a level of versatility and defense this team needs to take it to the next level. They accomplish this by giving up bench players, one young player, and two likely late first round picks. If Indiana decides to pull the trigger, they’ll solidify themselves as a powerhouse in the east for years to come.

TORONTO

C - Poeltl PF - Barnes SF - Barrett SG - Quickley PG - Murray

Bench - Trent, Walker, Schroeder, Boucher, Porter, Dick

After the Anunoby trade, the Raptors direction became clear. This trade allows them to get a nice mix of established talent, raw talent, and draft capital. Although his defensive ability isn’t what it used to be, Dejounte Murray’s two way play will fit very well with Toronto. Given that Quickley is a score first point guard, Dejounte’s playmaking will complement him and Barnes nicely. Especially considering his last season in San Antonio saw him average 9 assists per game as the primary ball handler. Jarace Walker is a raw prospect, but with high upside. Additionally, they collect a (likely late) first round pick. This could prove to be enough for Masai to pull the trigger.
