Celtics blow up their stumbling roster for a potential third star in Wood and Brunson. Wood is an athletic big who can protect the rim and space the floor moderately well. He can handle the ball well for a big, and is a lethal roll man. Brunson is a great all-around PG who can score and handle the ball at an elite level. He would complement the Celtic's young core well.
The Mavericks swap Brunson for Smart in hopes of blistering their defense. He is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, and can be a secondary ball-handler for the Mavericks. They also get Theis, a versatile big who can space the floor as well as being very switchable on the defensive end.
The Rockets give up Wood and Theis for a plethora of assets and two first round picks. Robert Williams is a great young center who is extremely athletic and a menace defensively with his length. Grant Williams is a solid young big, Pritchard is a good young ball-handler, and Green has the potential to be an ideal 3-and-D wing.
