I have no idea how the money works on this. Basically, the breakdown:
The Raps get a first, two seconds, and take on Ziaire and Brandon's rehab projects. There's potential and upside there for both of them in various ways. My only doubt on this is if it's enough for Toronto with the lottery protection, but I'm being cautious.
For the Grizz, they get Lopez as a stretch (ish) big that can operate while edey learns the ropes and system. I think Lopez with Morant and Bane is pretty dangerous. A heavily protected first and two seconds is a lot less expensive than it looks on paper. I avoided parting with Williams or GG.
The Bucks was the central idea of the trade--trying to get them Brown who feels like a natural fit on a team that needs perimeter ballhandling and defense. I think losing Lopez, personally, is absolutely brutal. I don't even know if they'd be willing to do this. But I do think with his deal expiring and last years' disappointment, there's room for a justifiable change. Brown makes their offense and defense different and they can try to figure that out with plenty of time before training camp.
The sixers piece of this could very easily be a separate trade, and there may be some draft capital involved from Milwaukee (if that's even feasible), but this is basically under the idea that Reed has rotation potential but the Sixers just signed Andre Drummond/drafted Adem Bona. I don't know if this means Reed needs to be traded right away, insurance for Embiid is never bad, but I don't think it's worth keeping them all together if minutes become a problem.
Ultimately, it comes down to Milwaukee finding the lowest cost center they can obtain with the parameters of the 2nd apron, while upgrading their guard/wing rotation with Brown. Philly gets a streaky shooter, Raptors get some equity, and the Grizzlies get a great defensive center who can help guide Edey.
This also strikes me as a potential trade deadline deal depending on how seasons are going.
