The Knicks bench currently is really weak and with precious' no trade clause it may be hard for the knicks to acquire any depth without spending significant assets. They do lose mitchell robinson but trying to contend they simply cannot rely upon him especially with how little depth they have and how injury prone he has been recently since 2019 he's played 259/457 games for the knicks. They receive depth at the wing and a lock-down defender in thybulle , another ball handler in banton and a floor spacing center in reath obviously they do need the rim protection that robinson provides but his lack of availability is a big issue and the knicks can try and combat the injury collapse they suffered in last years playoff by having a solid 9 man rotation with these additons.
Blazers get solid value for these roleplayers two of which may of left in free agency and are kind of just taking up minutes for younger talent and recieve robinson who could allow them to feel better about moving off rob williams
