Outlook

The Thunder's biggest issue is having too many assets. They could make a big move that consolidates some of those assets and potentially makes the roster better but they choose to retain their successful roster. They do make a move that gives them further asset well in the future that may end up being considerably better than what they give up (a late frp and projected late frp). They also bring in Bennett Stirtz, Dame Sarr, Tomislav Ivisic on 2 way deals. The Thunder end up in a great financial situation still being $12,129,302 under the luxury line with their full MLE still available to them. If they chose to they could use their exception to acquire a player while sending one of theirs out to create a TPE at any point this season.
