MIL: It's not the best package but this is done on the assumption that Giannis only wants NY and will only commit to resigning there. Scoot is due for an extension soon, but Milwaukee can afford to pay him more than Portland would be willing to. He still has a chance to breakout and becomes a very good player, a solid foundation for the rebuild. Getting the rights to their picks in 2027 and 2030 is also huge. That 2032 pick from the Knicks is also very valuable as the majority of NY's core will be aged out by then or on its last legs. Starting 5: Who cares, they're rebuilding.

NYK: The Knicks acquire a top 3 player in the world, who's fit alongside KAT should be outstanding. Losing OG and Hart could hurt them more than we think. It's a gamble but could be a necessary one to beat OKC. Starting 5: Brunson / McBride / Bridges / Antetokounmpo / KAT

POR: The Trail Blazers rank as one of the bottom 5 defenses and the 2nd worst 3P shooting team in the league. OG solves both those issues in a big way. He's one of the best spot-up shooters in the world right now (at least from the corner) and is an all-world defender who can fit in any system. Getting off of Grant's contract is a huge positive as well. Losing Scoot hurts but with Jrue playing well, Scoot needing an extension soon and Dame back in a years' time, it makes sense to cash in on Scoot now while the league still believes in his potential. All in on Shaedon Sharpe hoops. Starting 5: Holiday / Sharpe / OG / Avdija / Clingan

DAL: This is done on the assumption that the Mavericks would also shop Kyrie Irving around, not to pair him with Trae. Dallas gets a true PG to pair with #1 overall pick Cooper Flagg. Trae would have to resign as he's likely to decline his PO but regardless, you still get off of the AD money and solve a couple of glaring issues in the roster construction. Josh Hart also comes in as one of the league's best role players and a handy vet. It's not perfect by any means and the spacing is a big concern but I don't think this is a bad return for AD, could be wrong. Starting 5: Young / Christie / Flagg / PJ / Gafford

ATL: With Trae entering free agency this summer and the Hawks unlikely to resign, they cash in and solve the problems they've had defensively and especially in the rebounding department. It's a big risk given the injury history of AD now being paired with the glass unicorn Kristaps Porzingis, however that frontcourt duo will be elite if they can be healthy come playoff time. Going all in on Jalen Johnson + they will receive a top 5 selection from either Milwaukee or New Orleans this season. Starting 5: Daniels / NAW / Johnson / AD / Porzingis

I don't know this is probably ass, but I think it makes sense for all teams involved especially if Giannis is demanding to go to NY only.
