Cavs lose Garland but replace him with a more defensively sound guard in Suggs who should fit nicely alongside Mitchell while saving $4m. They then send picks in which they would theatrically get from this deal to Brooklyn in exchange for in demand Cam Johnson while getting off of Deandre Hunter’s money for a much better player to help them in title contention.
