Hawks come off a first round exit well to the Celtics they need more perimeter defense I also think its time for the Celtics to get rid of Marcus Smart yes he provides good shooting but he provides little to no offence the Hawks are looking to move on from John Collins he's a good interior defender and a good mid range and inside scorer but when they gave him that contract they were expecting him to progress but he hasn't really so its time to move on.

They Receive Marcus Smart a good perimeter defender and for a guard he can defend the inside pretty well he will always make a DPOY argument because his Defense is so good, They also get Galli back whos a good shooter and can play the perimeter well they also Receive that 2nd round pick which gives them some draft capital.

John Collins can provide amazing inside scoring and good rim protection the Celtics wanna make this trade because grant Williams is testing free agency so being able to get a guy like John Collins would be amazing.
