Maybe this Thunder team gets too expensive in 2-3 seasons and they retrade JJJ or another of their big contracts at that point but it would make them stronger over the next 2-3 seasons and they won't have enough roster spots so they need to consolidate.

This would make them more immune to any possible big man injury that could be their biggest weakness come playoff time. Chet, Ihart and JJJ as big man rotation would make it so you can withstand any injury come playoffs.

The Grizzlies getting four 1sts and some good young players back would have to say yes to this rest type of rebuild trade IMO.
