Heat
Heat agree to this trade to plug up the holes they have at the 1 and 4. Tyler Herro gets moved in the trade but the heat have Strus/Duncan/Oladipo that they can put in the 2 spot.
Jrue is a great fit in the heat switch everything system since he is such a great point of attack defender. Between Jrue/Jimmy/Bam the heat keeps its defense first mentality, and adds some 3pt shooting and wing depth in Jerami Grant in the process.
Putting these pieces next to jimmy lets the heat contend for a ring for the next year or two.
Starters: Holiday/Strus/Butler/Grant/Adebayo
Blazers
Blazers obviously need to blow it up after this season. Dame's commented publicly about his desire to contend with another star and the blazers simply do not have the assets or the free agent gravity to pull it off.
They grab Tyler Herro and then flip him along with Nurkic to the Magic who need 3point shooting, and nurkic can provide alot of post offense/passing for them at the 5.
In return they get a chunk of front court depth in players with potential and a boatload of picks to make a move whenever they are ready to contend again.
Starters: Simons/Sharpe/Reddish/(Jovic or Isaac)/Carter Jr
Magic
Magic have been doing an amazing job drafting good players and developing their potential. With this move they put Tyler Herro onto a team full of good players that needs some help with 3pt shooting.
They trade Wendell Carter JR who has been showing some good promise for Nurkic. Blazers are looking for good young players and Nurkic can provide some solid Vet minutes at the 5 for what will soon be a winning team.
Herro is creeping up on his peak, and if it happens at the same time as Banchero and Wagner the magic are going to be in a great position.
Starters: Fultz/Herro/Wagner/Banchero/Nurkic
Bucks
Bucks just got bounced out by the heat in the first round after losing a 16 point lead in the 4th quarter, just after losing a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter in game 4. The reason their offense died out is because Giannis was missing all of his free throws and losing his confidence.
Adding Damian Lillard to this team gives the bucks probably the best #2 Option for scoring of any team in the NBA. He is known for his clutch shooting and 4th quarter takeovers. Lillard can space the hell out of the floor and can take the reins on offense from time to time to keep defenses honest.
Miluwakee is a perfect fit for dame too since their amazing bigs can cover for his perimiter defense on the pick and roll. Not to mention combination of Brook Lopez and Dame will pull defenders so far out of the paint to give Giannis room to dominate.
Starters: Lillard/Allen/Middleton/Giannis/Lopez
