This trade needs work, maybe the Bulls are getting fleeced. The Bulls should sell high on Lavine, and multiple firsts alone with prospects like Brandon Boston, Jason Preston, and Jaden Springer seems like a decent return.

I don’t think this trade elevates either the Clippers nor the Sixers to top 5 contender status, so each team would need to continue to build via trades.

Lavine makes sense for the Sixers as a Harden replacement. Lavine is less ball which allows Maxey and Embiid to cook more. The Sixers would still have a need at SF after this trade.

The Clippers would still have a need at PF after this trade, unless Kobe Brown can contribute immediately
